The COLOR here is very bright and flowery not only for its beauty but for its meaning and spirituality. The orange is not only for the people or earthy, but one of the hardest dyes to get hold of in the area (The burnt orange Persian rug I bought cost a small fortune.) so it is often considered royal. The blue overhead but not completely covering the tapestry represents that even the mighty are beneath god, as those color patterns are often used in mosques. His happiness is due to his being cloaked in righteousness.
